Special Guest Emma Galloway!
Anything made by hand is all the more special, and if ever there’s a time of the year we want more ‘special’ as part of the festivities, it’s Christmas! And we have a very special guest…
Visiting South Australia for the very first time, Emma Galloway, New Zealand based chef, author + photographer of My Darling Lemon Thyme fame, will be joining us to share some of the beautiful recipes from her brand new book, Thyme to Cook! Together with stylist and prop-hunter extraordinaire Rachael Will, from Vintage Carousel, and our founder, Cherie Hausler, in her beautiful Stables Kitchen in the Barossa Valley, the girls will create a perfectly bespoke Christmas; with ideas for a relaxed seasonal produce-forward feast.
There will be every chance to chat to Emma about her new book, Thyme to Cook, and have a copy personally signed for yourself or as a gift for a fellow garden-loving cook.
Pots of hand blended tea will be served throughout the workshop while nibbling on plant-based, mostly gluten-free goodies demonstrated by Emma and Cherie. A festive curated pop-up shop filled with vintage finds, cookbooks, tea and plantbased provisions will be available for purchase on the day, so you’ll leave completely equipped to create your own version of a handmade Christmas at home.
It’s going to be a delicious day, in a gorgeous space with a bunch of lovely people. Perhaps most importantly, in the crazy weeks before the silly season, this is a workshop with every opportunity to take some time for yourself to ‘unplug’ for the day, in the peace and quiet of the Barossa countryside.
Tickets are extremely limited, so grab some friends and come to the Barossa for the day. You’ll leave with Christmas sorted in the most delicious manner!
