Anything made by hand is all the more special, and if ever there’s a time of the year we want more ‘special’ as part of the festivities, it’s Christmas!

Stylist and prop-hunter extraordinaire Rachael Will, from Vintage Carousel, will be joining our founder, Cherie Hausler, in her beautiful Stables Kitchen in the Barossa Valley for a relaxed day of creating a perfectly bespoke Christmas; with ideas for handcrafted edible gifts and how to set up an eye-catching Garden Bar, taking every inspiration from Nature as our mixologist.

Styled with a choice of vintage props collated by Rachael’s keen eye, Cherie will share her recipes and techniques for festive concoctions based on botanicals, as well as Real Ginger Gingerbread, Tea Soaked Fruit Cake, and Barossa Panforte, amongst others. Gifts you can craft at home that come with the precious kind of gratitude felt by those you’ve handmade them for.

Pots of hand blended tea will be served throughout the workshop while eating goodies demonstrated by Cherie. Rachael will also have her festive-focussed props available for purchase on the day, so you’ll leave completely equipped to create your own version of a handmade Christmas at home.

It’s going to be a delicious day, in a gorgeous space (the kitchen where All The Things TV is filmed for SBS) with a bunch of lovely people.

Tickets are extremely limited, so grab some friends and come to the Barossa for the day. You’ll leave with Christmas sorted in the most delicious manner!
